About

Who we are

St Aidan’s has stood at the top of the market place for more than 700 years.

Today, we’re a small and friendly congregation that runs a food bank, a lunch club and a warm space, with a lot of help from the town.

Food bank

Open on Tuesdays and Fridays. Everyone’s welcome, and no referral is needed.

Warm space

The hall is heated, with tea and a chat, every weekday through the winter.

Home visits

If you, or someone you know, can’t get out, we’d be glad to visit.
